Skipsfjordelva - River fishing

Skipsfjordelva - River fishing is a salmon rich river, about 10 km long. The river is fed by two big lakes, Storvannet and Nervannet.
There is no road to Skipsfjorden, so most people get there by boat Burøysund or walk the costal trail from Hamre.
The fishing season starts at midnight July 1st. Resting time is between 12 PM and 6 PM everyday with additional rest from 12 PM Wednesday to 6 PM Thursday. Fishing Season Pass can be bought at Matkroken in Vannareid (J.Mikalsen AS).
Underneath is some pictures from Skipsfjordelva. The biggest salmon caught in the river weighed in around 15-16 Kg and was caught by Ronald Mikkelsen in 2021 (Picture).
